Admission Detail

Admission to EMRS Boripada will be through an appropriate method as per transparent objective criteria to be decided by the NESTS based on the norms under RTE Act, 2009

At the Upper Primary and Secondary level i.e. from class VI to X, EMRS Boripada will have maximum 60 students in 2 sections of 30 students each. The seats for boys and girls in EMRS Boripada are equal in number.

Admission Eligibility : The minimum and maximum age limit for the admission in Eklavya Model residential Schools in various classes is given as per the table

Reservations in Admission: In accordance with the guidelines by NESTS, the following reservation policy will be followed for granting admission in EMRS Schools

Admission to Class VI: Admission to class Vi will be done strictly on the basis of entrance test . Maharashtra Tribal Public School Society notifies about the admission to the new session through the wide publicity in the news papers and also at the project offices. Students from Ashram Schools , Z.P Schools and form other schools also can submit applications to the respective project office. After scrutinizing the applications at the project offices. The entrance exam will be conducted in February/ March every year.

Compostion of Test: The entrance test is conducted in offline mode will be of 2hrs duration comprising 100 objective question from 3 sections for total 100 marks. The medium of instruction will be in Marathi/Ennglish. The compostion of the test will be as follows.

Lateral Entry in EMRS: Lateral entry in classes VII and VIII is allowed only through the entrance exam by following the same procedure for admission in class VI. The composition for the test will be
